Keynote Speakers

We are delighted to announce that there will be two keynote speakers presenting at the Emotions at Borders/Limits conference. The inaugural keynote will be delivered by Dr Pablo Escalante Gonzalbo (Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas, UNAM, Mexico) who will speak about “Sadness and Joy among Ancient Nahuas. The problem of the colonization of emotions” on Wednesday, October 28th from 10:00 am-12:00 noon. Our second keynote speaker is Professor Susan J. Matt (Weber State University) who will deliver a talk on “Self-reliance and Loneliness in the Age of AI: A New Frontier of Feeling” on Friday, October 31st, from 11:40am-13:20pm.
