Art Gallery of South Australia

The Art Gallery of South Australia has one of the largest art museum collections in Australia, comprised of almost 45,000 works of art spanning 2000 years. Our collection includes paintings, sculpture, prints and drawings, photographs and videos, textiles and clothing, ceramics, glass, metalwork, jewellery and furniture.

David Roche Foundation Galleries

Some 3,000 items are on display throughout Fermoy House and the adjoining galleries at the David Roche Foundation. The focus of the collection is decorative arts of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Explore the strengths of the collection through Furniture, Ceramics, Paintings, Sculpture, Clocks, Textiles and Objects of Virtue primarily from Britain, Russia and France.

South Australian Museum

This Museum is one of the most visited museums in Australia and holds collections of national and international significance, and is committed to making Australia’s natural and cultural heritage accessible, engaging and fun.

Adelaide Central Market and China Town

Established in 1869, Central market is a great spot to try the best of our local produce – and to fill up for breakfast at some of Adelaide’s most popular cafes and eateries.

Glenelg Promenade

The Glenelg Promenade is just a tram ride from town, soak up the sun, have a stroll, watch the people go by, and grab an ice-cream.

Rundle East

Rundle Street East is the heartbeat of Adelaide’s ever popular cosmopolitan East End District. Cutting-edge and independent fashion, specialty retail, and some of Adelaide’s best known cafes, restaurants and wine bars.

Wine Tasting at Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale

Two of the most significant wine regions of the country are within an hour’s drive. If you love big, bold reds, they’re worth the trip.

Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills

Hahndorf is a State listed Heritage Town with its strong German heritage on full display – it is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Adelaide. A day roaming the hills is a must for foodies.

Cleland Wildlife Park

Only 15 minutes from town is the Cleland Wildlife Park, get up close and personal with some of Australia’s weird and wonderful wildlife.
